I’m getting over a terrible flu but have been feeling much better the last few days.

When I woke up today I had a slightly swollen lip. I thought perhaps it was a bug bite. Or maybe my roommate came by and slugged me in the middle of the night. It wouldn’t have been the first time.

As the morning progressed, however, so did the swelling. By noon I looked like something out of the Westminster Dog Show. Jennifer Coolidge to be exact.

We walked the 4 blocks to Davies and the difficult breathing set in.  I was immediately  hooked to an IV and treated for an allergic reaction.

They said it was Lisiniprol which I’ve taken for almost a decade. My informed opinion is that it was the box of Theraflu I devoured for the first time in my life over the weekend.

No matter, it’s all right now. In fact, it’s a gas.
